SHORT BIO (50 words)
Keith Larsen is a Denver-based artist, designer and writer behind The Faces Within Places, an illustrated series that finds the faces hiding in everyday objects. Each photo becomes a named character with a poem of its own. The series has been featured worldwide, taught in classrooms and collected in a hardcover book.

LONG BIO (120 words)
Keith Larsen started The Faces Within Places in 2017, sharing photos of the faces he couldn't stop seeing in outlets, faucets, hydrants and tomatoes, then drawing the characters he saw in them and giving each one a name and a poem. The series spread from Reddit and Imgur to Instagram and into the press, with features from Bored Panda, My Modern Met, Laughing Squid and Distractify. In 2019 Keith partnered with HITRECORD, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's collaborative production company, on a project where thousands of people photographed, illustrated and animated faces of their own. He has guest lectured at Parsons School of Design, his illustrations appear in textbooks in the UK and Brazil, and a primary school class in East London is named Larsen Class in his honor.
